More assemblage angels from antique and vintage materials

I have had so much fun putting together these little art dolls that I just had to share them with you.   Trying to figure out what type of wings to use was a challenge.  I wanted something that coordinated with the dolls themselves, but that was creative. For some I used just rusty wire.  For others I painted tissue paper and  molded it around the wire.  Vary pleased with the results, a spot of color that allows "heavenly" light to shine through.

Found Objects in Art

I love creating with things I find while walking the dogs through the woods and fields.  I've stumbled upon some wonderful porcelain insulators from old electric fencing.  They looked so much like little people's bodies that for months the name "Barbed Wire Betty" kept running through my head.  Eventually I had to give up on the barbed wire and substitute rusty craft wire, but you'd be amazed at what one can do.
After the first one, I was on a roll and just couldn't stop myself.  I dreamt of angels and had visions of new and different kinds.  I searched my stash and found old children's blocks, antique wooden typeset and vintage jewelry that became part of over 40 different angels.
I'm not sure where they will lead me, but they promised to protect me and bless me with the joy found only in creating.
I've posted a few in my etsy shop.
